Creating Jobs

When we have more jobs than workers, wages increase, but when jobs are much fewer than the number of those in the workforce, wages become stagnant. I have firsthand knowledge of the things that are choking the financial life out of you at home and at your workplace. Providing an employer friendly environment in our state is the key to allowing people to create jobs. States have been quick to give individual incentives to get employers to locate within their borders but have not done enough to keep jobs that have been there for years. Completely eliminating the State Corporate Income Tax would keep current jobs in Georgia and bring in many new ones. Any tax or fee paid by a company is embedded in the price of their product at the retail purchase point and is paid by you at the cash register. The “official” unemployment in Georgia for those still seeking employment is currently 7%, while underemployment is above 15%.
