Steve Tarvin Kicks Off The Final Weeks Of His 2014 Campaign

April 20, 2014

Steve Tarvin kicks off the final weeks of his 2014 campaign for re-election on April 27 with a reception at Choo-Choo Bar B Que in Chickamauga from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.

“I have enjoyed serving the citizens of the Second District and look forward to the opportunity to serve in the future. I ask for you support on May 20th, together we can make a difference.”

“I am an experienced, principled, and pragmatic problem solver who believes in local control. I and my family are products of our local area and the public school system; my priorities are the education, health and economic well-being of our community. Our family roots run deep and I am greatly concerned that our children and grandchildren will not see the same country we grew up in.”

A sixth generation resident of Walker County, Steve and his wife, Jennifer Lance Tarvin, have been married for 44 years. They have two children and six grandchildren. They are members of Oakwood Baptist Church. They both enjoy shooting sports, hunting, are Diamond Life Sponsors of the NWTF and life members of the NRA. Steve is a member of Georgia Carry.Org, life member of National Association for Gun Rights and founding member of Oath Keepers. Steve has served on the Chickamauga City School Board, the Chickamauga City Council and currently serves as the State Representative for Georgia House District 2.

A lifelong conservative Republican, Steve Tarvin believes in traditional family values, personal responsibility, and constitutionally limited government. Tarvin said he fully understands the problems that families and businesses are facing today in Georgia. “I have firsthand knowledge of the things that are choking the financial life out of our citizens at home and at work.”

“I will continue to represent you, not special interest”
